Quick Reference

The full workflow, step by step

1

Open your file

Drag and drop or click the import icon. CBZ, CBR, CB7, CBT, EPUB, PDF, ZIP, RAR, a folder of images, or a saved .panelshift project. All pages load into the left panel.

2

Set source and target language

Choose your language pair in the right panel. Click Apply to All Pages to set it globally across the archive.

3

Click Translate All, Restore All, or Colorize All

Auto mode runs all six steps in sequence. Each finished page appears in the viewer immediately - no waiting for the full album. If something looks off, pause, jump to that page, correct it, and let the run continue. Use Restore All to clean and whiten faded pages, or Colorize All to bring black and white artwork to life. Note: PanelShift is a translation workstation, not a comic reader - the live preview is there so you can catch issues early and stay in control.

4

Review and correct

Navigate with arrow keys. Select any page that needs a fix, switch to Manual mode, and re-run individual steps. Edit OCR or translation text directly in the right panel.

5

Export

Click Export All and choose your format. CBZ for comic readers, EPUB for e-readers, PDF for printing or sharing.

6

Save your project

Use Save Project to write a .panelshift file. Open it later to continue exactly where you stopped - all corrections and per-page settings preserved.
